What Is Composite Photography?
Each team member is photographed individually or in small groups using the same background, lighting setup and framing standard. The production team then assembles the approved selections into a single unified group image. The result is a polished, consistent team photograph that would be impossible to create with a single in-person session.
Composite imagery is a custom service and is scoped and priced individually based on team size, location count and production requirements. Mention it when completing the quote form and we will confirm whether it is the right solution for your project.
Preparation Checklist for the Organizing Team
HR, operations and office managers play a key role in making a group photography day run efficiently. Here is what we recommend confirming in advance.
Scheduling & Attendance Coordination
Confirm who will be photographed and block time on their calendars before the shoot date. For larger teams, plan the order in advance — department by department or role by role — and communicate individual time slots clearly so there is no confusion on the day.
Attire Guidance for Employees
Share guidance on preferred colors, formality level and what to avoid (bold patterns, logos, very light or very dark tones that conflict with the chosen background). Encourage employees to bring a backup outfit option. Consistency in attire level strengthens the final cohesive look across the full team set.
Location Confirmation
Identify the rooms or spaces available for setup and confirm access, furniture-moving permissions and any building-security requirements for equipment arrival. Share this with Client Services before the shoot date so the photography team arrives fully prepared.
Shot-List Priorities
Provide a clear list of must-have compositions: the full company group, specific department groups, the leadership team and any individual headshots needed in the same session. Priority order matters — if time runs short, the most important images are captured first.
Name and File-Handling Instructions
If employees need their images delivered with name labels, prepare a roster in advance. Let Client Services know the preferred file-naming convention before the session so delivery is organized and easy to distribute internally.
Day-of Contact
Designate one internal contact who will be present on the shoot day, has access to the space and can assist with rounding up employees, adjusting the schedule if needed and answering any on-site questions. Share that person's name and mobile number with Client Services in advance.

Team and group photography starts at $1,300. The final investment depends on group size, number of compositions, location, total image volume, and deliverable scope.
